GPP adds six new clients to its already strong client base.
Tenant representation and recent client listing assignments have added to the growth of Gannett Peak Partners (GPP). Christopher R. Keppel, a long time player in the commercial real estate field, was added to the GPP team in May of 2010. He recently secured Normediz, Adecco and EOS Processing as new clients. Darrin D. Dufresne, 17 year veteran within the Twin City commercial real estate industry, secured listing assignments from Robert W. Baird and DSI and is working on two new tenant representation assignments.

We also see stabilization within the market, and by the 2nd half of 2011 vacancy rates will begin to inch lower. On the buyer side, financing continues to be challenging. We have more than a trillion dollars of commercial loans coming due in the next two years, we're at an all time high for bank failures and it won't get much better in 2011. If you have a strong balance sheet and are prepared to provide up to 30% equity for a purchase, then buy now and take advantage of historically low rates. Hypertension Diagnostics, a medical device company located in Eagan, worked with Phil Kluesner to secure a four year renewal at The Waters.
Oakwood Worldwide worked with Darrin Dufresne to relocate into larger office/warehouse space in Edina. Darrin worked with the California, Newport Beach office of Grubb and Ellis to secure this assignment.
Thorp Brokerage Services Darrin Dufresne worked with Thorp to secure new office space and reduced their occupancy cost by more than 44%. Thorp now enjoys a new location in Edina, MN.
